The performance test confirmed my observations…I have never seen such bad results before.Īt first, I assumed it was a graphic card driver problem. For example, when creating a new file, the templates window took a whole minute to appear. Everything worked fine until I opened a project in SolidWorks…I was shocked…SolidWorks was useless! I was expecting a little performance drop, but not this much. We upgraded our workstations to Windows 10 and installed SolidWorks 2019. We decided to perform the upgrade now, before the next big project begins. This means that slowly everyone will be forced to upgrade to a new version of OS. As you might know, the next year Microsoft is removing support for Windows 7.
